There are third party virtual serial drivers available generic drivers that are compatible with any CDC implementation but the licenses run at about euro from some companies. If I use DeviceManager for installing the driver I get a big warning that the driver is not signed and shall not be installed. The customer is always right. I’ve also run into this problem. They also sublease PIDs.
