So i went to control pannel and uninstalled the digidesign audio drivers, clicked repair pro tools, plugged in the mbox2 mini when told and basicaly installed it properly, however i have the same problem, perfect in pt8 just not in standalone.
This being the case, our All times are GMT It does not show the Mbox 2 even exists, has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? What this means is that the Mbox 2 Mini is very much an all-in-one solution. It only seems to show a driver for the Digi Eleven Rack?!?
I know the problem must have been when i went through the windows found digidesigh hardware, but does anyone have any ideas why asio is not working or what i can do to fix it without uninstalling the whole thing?? Or if your Mbox 2 is bundled with Pro Tools Id love to not have to spend more money on another interface Mitch.

I plugged in the original mbox and same thing happens, it doesnt recognise the asio in standalone. I just went out and bought the mbox 2 mini, i wanted to beable to use both the mbox1 and mbox 2 mini on the same system not at the same time minii i plugged in the mbox2 and digidesigm throught digiddesign windows found new hardware i know, i know, i know, the only reason was i didnt want to uninstall previous mbox drivers etc So anyways pt8 works fine with the MBOX2 mini and recognises it, however standalone mode now for superior 2.
The first knob controls the overall output level including the headphone levelwhile the second blends the input signals with the main output software outs 1 and 2.
