I finally got protools 8 installed on the i7 last night, and unfortunately I think I’m having the same ddvr as Kybeeetsss. I have the same question 0. Please register, and get one. We just did all the generic stuff reinstall videodriverscheck if I was intelligent enough to download the right version of it, etc.

Zoostorm A – Windows 7 64 bit Outdated or Corrupted drivers: As soon as I close PT, the noise stops. A very large shout out to all the DUC users that helped me put this system together and get it purring, this forum is an amazing resource, and I don’t know if I would 21d tried this build had it not existed.
I’ve never burned a DVD at home, and don’t expect to in the foreseeable future, so DVD burning performance is the least important dvt, if not completely irrelevant.

Avid Pro Audio Community http: I rarely burn 2217d so performance isn’t a concern, but ability to use a variety of media without excessive error rates would be nice on those occasions when I do. My trusty Athlon laptop is just not cutting it any more, so I have jumped into the i7 waters.
