Posted May 13, I had no speaker icon, no sound device detected. I have been working on this sound issue for a long time. I cannot select them via Audio Midi Setup.

This worked for me on my gigabyte P43 chipset with onboard audio. I’ve tried re-applying a couple of times. Replacing with this really did the trick. It worked fine on Kalyway
